Fact: There are over 155,000 inmates in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System.

Fact: 90% of all Texas Inmates will be eligible for parole at sometime during their incarceration.

Fact: Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles considers well over 60,000 parole cases a year.

Fact: Only 24% or less of the Texas inmates will make parole in a single year.
